1. Data controller

2. Categories of personal data we collect

  • Identity data: name, job title, employer, country.
  • Contact data: business email, phone number, mailing address.
  • Payment data: billing address, VAT number, purchase order. We do not store full card numbers — card payments are processed by Stripe.
  • Event participation data: registration status, sessions attended, meetings booked.
  • Marketing preferences: opt-in/opt-out status, newsletter subscriptions.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, cookies (see Cookie Policy).

3. How we use your data — and our legal basis

  • Registration processing — to issue your delegate pass, invoice and event access. Legal basis: contract.
  • Payment processing — via Stripe (for cards) or bank transfer. Legal basis: contract.
  • Marketing communications — newsletter, future-event invitations. Legal basis: consent. You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Event app and matchmaking — to connect you with relevant attendees on request. Legal basis: legitimate interest, with opt-out.
  • Photography and video — for event coverage and marketing. Legal basis: legitimate interest, with opt-out on request.
  • Sponsor data sharing — only if you opt in to a specific sponsor at the event. Legal basis: consent.

4. Retention periods

Registration data is retained for seven (7) years to meet accounting and tax obligations. Marketing data is retained until you unsubscribe. Anonymised event data may be retained indefinitely for statistical purposes.

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers (e.g. Stripe, email infrastructure) may transfer data outside the EEA. Where this happens, transfers are protected by EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Your rights

Under EU GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion ("right to be forgotten") subject to legal retention.
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Withdraw marketing consent at any time.
  • Receive your data in a portable format.

7. Complaints

You may lodge a complaint with the Czech Data Protection Authority (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7) or your local supervisory authority.
